Positively pink
Positively Pink:
I think of happiness as pink
The color pink
That upsettingly bright pink
That bubble gummy
Pinkalicious pink
I think of it as
Fluffy bunnies
Cute ponies
And pretty clouds that dot the sky
Everyone should have something pink
Something so pink it makes you nauseous
Something so positively pink
You can't help but dive into the feeling
Nothing sad
Nothing down
No trauma
Or scary stories
Just positively pink.
No dark themes
Or black holes left in your heart by past lovers
Or family members who are dying
Or twisted images
Just positively pink.
That pink bliss
The happiest place you’ve ever been
It doesn't matter what it is
Or Who it is
Or where it is
As long as it’s positively pink.
That feeling you get
When all is right with the world
Weather its fluffy bunnies
cute ponies
Your significant other
Or eating your weight in Mac and cheese
As long as it's positively pink.

I noticed that in my creative writing class most people wrote very sad and dark poems. But I wanted to do something else, so I challenged myself to write something positive and be my own ray of sunshine.
