Oh how I love your loud beep, though you got me in trouble plenty

of times by getting my mom out of bed.

All I have is good memories of late night with friends. With loud joyful laughter that never would end.

When I had nothing to do you gave me something to shoot, or a car to drive, a mission to complete friends to make or enemies to slay.

You wear all black yet your personality is bright and your light is blue.

Keeping in contact with my friends, some I thought I’d never see again, from sunny San Bernardino to snowy Chicago, we’d spend all day playing grand theft auto. Playing games had always been my escape from reality. I would slide away gradually. Deeper and deeper until I’m fully emmeresued.

Stickers from over the years cover you like worn tattoos. And your fan is loud like a jet. I’m not the best kid so often I would find myself in trouble and you in my moms closet. Longing for your return, I’d wait patiently…

Everywhere I went I would bring you, from traveling around the world to bringing you over to a friend for a sleepover. PlayStation you have always been by my side and for that I’m thankful so many hours with no place I'd rather have spent it more. You are more than a gaming console, each chip and screw in you is designed meticulously for maximum enjoyment, each push of a button has a million possibilities of what you can do and who you can be and every day with you is unique. Thank you PlayStation
