Favorite Quote:
“Never did she find anything so difficult as to keep herself from losing her temper when she was suddenly disturbed while absorbed in a book. People who are fond of books know the feeling of irritation which sweeps over them at such a moment. The temptation to be unreasonable and snappish is one not easy to manage.

"It makes me feel as if something had hit me," Sara had told Ermengarde once in confidence. "And as if I want to hit back. I have to remember things quickly to keep from saying something ill-tempered.”
― Frances Hodgson Burnett, A Little Princess

‘Sorry’

‘Sorry’

to want to, but not be able to,

to be so near, but also so far.

To Suffer.

Suffer,

not being the one in pain,

but Wanting,

Wanting,

to be able to help.

whether Far or Near,

whether There or Here,

whether Tale or Truth,

there are always Those Suffering,

not just from the pain

But also,

from not being able to Help those in pain.

They may not be seen,

They may not be heard.

But,

But,

They will ALWAYS be there.

No Matter What.

The author's comments:

I felt guilty about not being able to help a fictional character.
