2022 Traditions Contest: Summer: Little Changes
July there is good.
It was so for 3 generations.
Salt always in the air,
Brown billows never forget to steal bits of shore.
Pines tickle the sun as it goes to bed
Whenever clouds are gone.
The sand is as before,
The sea speaks the same language.
Yet this year apart from all essentials
Something else ended up in the shared suitcase
No doubt THIS now changes somebody’s voice.
No doubt THIS now bends somebody’s quiet head.
As always we stay for 2 weeks or so,
Again we’ll call it a good summer when we get back home.
