Enviousness
“Do not overrate what you have received, nor envy others. He who envies others does not obtain peace of mind.”
-Buddha
Envy, caused by a dissatisfaction of self image,
Person who envies always remains in a rage,
This is unquestionably an adage,
Being envious of others' progress, let it be efface.
Envy, pain at the sight of another's good fortune,
Always being envious won't let you live in a tune.
Stirred by, "what he has is ought to be mine”,
Will not let you live your life with a propitious rhyme.
Envy, a stealer of inner calmness and mind peace,
Should be a thing to be immediately seized.
If you are feeling melancholic and inflamed,
Only your enviousness is to be blamed.
Envy, thinking others to be loft and superior,
Which will result in finding yourself inferior.
So let’s leave it, and not be acquisitive blind,
The only way to get peace of mind.
