Horizons
I feel like I’m that one cloud
The one no one really knows anything about
Just hidden in plain sight
You can try to stir things around but you really know you’ll never find me
You’ll never find my soul and how it keeps trying to navigate while the world keeps moving around me
I have been crushed by the weight of my past
Above the clouds, there is the horizon
It’s the one constant that keeps gaping at the future
The one unknown I know I’ll never be able to let go of
But I know that even though centuries may pass by, I have not driven this far to quit
I don’t have to know everything
I don’t have to know anything
All I need to know is right there in front of me
It’s going to be okay
Knowing that someday I’m going to be bigger than I am right now is the one thing that keeps me going
I know I will reach that horizon
