I’m not ready
Not ready to look so far ahead
Not ready to set my future
Not ready to experience the world on my own
I’m not ready
Not ready to go forward
Not ready to be left behind
Not ready to be stuck in between
I’m not ready
Not ready to be alone
Not ready to be brave
Not ready to see which way I’ll be blown
I’m not ready
For many things it seems
But is anyone really ready
To go beyond the land of dreams?
