The Green Wall

The open-air pushes the trees around.
Leaves cover every part of the ground.
The subtle melodies of birds fill the space.
making the desolate location feel safe.
Seeing the great green wall.
Made the present seem so small.
At the top of the hill, the obstacles seemed small.
The only threat left was a great fall.
As the sun disappeared behind the wall of green.
The birds finally ceased to sing.
