This used to be a wonderful land of possibilities,
One of the peace bringers and of the free.
A country to foster and grow your dreams.
Sure you would need to work at it,
But It’s all for the sake of your dream, right?
Then I grew up.
The curtain fell with my blissful ignorance,
A country of mass greed and deceit laid before me now.
The ones with power decide our history.
They feed us just enough hope and propaganda so we believe,
That it’s all how we decide to live our lives.
