The Pain of Procrastination
I sit down to work
a cup of water by my side
I am ready.
But as my fingers wrap around my pencil, I think
This is boring
Once this thought enters
my mind,
my devious fingers
already
have YouTube ready and open.
Before I know it,
I am sucked into
a deep hole
of random cat videos.
An hour goes by
my paper is still blank
and my cup of water is still full.
