I just wanted to tell you, I love you 

I love your kind and welcoming arms that always accept me

I love you for taking my side even when you know Im wrong 

And I just wanted to tell you,

Never will there be some that I will love more than you,

And when I find a special someone to share my life with.

I know it won’t be as great as the love that I hold for you,

And when I look back at the times I hated you so much,

So much I believed there was no one in the world I would hate more 

I only see the times of love shared between us 

With all your flaws and imperfections

 I still believe you are the best parents I could have had 

You taught me about faith 

And taught me to follow my dreams 

To fight for what I believe in 

And to never forget my past and how it has shaped me into the woman I am today
