Pure air, fresh and smooth like You

have been smothered

with smoke your whole life.

One breath is all you need to think clear again

Now pollution surrounds you like a weighted blanket that is too heavy to push off

The only lifeline we have, that thing you

Need to survive, that thing that is the only thing keeping someone alive is,

 being poisoned by You.

Killing our earth,  greenhouses and

power plants consume

That one simple thing.

it is not survival of the fittest it is survival of the richest. But who wants to pay for survival.
