The Girl In The Mirror
The girl in the mirror,
She made a promise to be nicer.
To not break down or put down,
But she could never get past what she saw,
All she saw were her flaws.
She looked at the girl she felt sympathy for.
Her stomach not as flat,
It was more fat.
All the flaws were what she saw,
An unrealistic body image…
But after all
The girl in the mirror
Wasn’t what everyone else saw.
