Before you Became a Dandelion
“We too like trees can shake off our dead leaves and begin again”
Before you became a dandelion, you were a rose
Red as blood, and prickly as a cactus
Your petals fell as time passed like a tree in fall
And when you were a rose
Your beauty turned heads and filled hearts
Your petals can be brought to life again
Failure is not to be feared, for starting again only makes you stronger than before
May the rose you become stand tall through the strongest storms
