Never Shall I Forget

Never shall I forget that day,

The first day I put my foot on the line.

Which has touched my heart, 

I could never be apart.

Never shall I forget that loss,

The night my emotions were tossed.

Which strengthened my devotion, 

And turned my dreams into a reality.

Never shall I forget the win so sweet, 

The win was so graceful.

Which has kept me faithful, 

And ended with me receiving an appraisal.

Never shall I forget my first mentor,

Who got me to join.

I will never disappoint,

As my mentor is my very own father.

Never shall I forget where I traveled, 

So far just for a battle.

I step on the mat and see the line,

And I hear the referee scream ready to wrestle.

Never shall I forget Wrestling.
