One's Indulgence
Can one be too self obsessed?
Look down upon users, the promiscuous, the vain
Say I, oh I am not like the rest
All I crave is to smile till the day I am slain
In the cracks of my life exists hidden desire
They’re bright and innocent
I no longer want, I no longer feel! Lies, satire
I chase love, I chase joy, they tell me to repent
I’ll die a victim of myself as will you of yours
I feel obligated to tell you, I should
I’d give anything to open all of your doors
And show you there is so much good
