Don't Cry
You stomped your feet
The room shook underneath
I looked up to your piety eye
And cried for the very last time
You gave no sympathy
As you clashed the room to only debris
I settled my tail in between my knees
Praying only that you would leave
Instead, you shouted straight at me
That my ears were just a bit silly
My eyes were the shade of tiger lily
That of you always thought of me as greedy
Finally, you stopped
Only inches from me
And let me go scurry
Into the trees
