2022 Traditions Contest- The Prayer
January 2, 2022
Five minutes before twelve,
everyone gather round.
We didn't go to church today,
so at home we'll pray.
But first, rub The Oil,
never forget The Oil.
Grease our foreheads.
A 'T', a cross,
two strokes.
A holy symbol.
To bless our lives, the hope
Pray for family and friends,
the country, the needy, the sick.
To God, we hope you hear us,
to you, we put our trust.
Let no harm come forth,
success, happiness. Pour
This is always The Prayer,
with which we start our New Year.

Since covid started, we have to make new traditions for the sake of our safety. This is my family's second year of this tradition of praying at home. I hope you enjoy.
