Invisible
Invisible
She came into the world with a big heart,
Her parents always loved her right from the start.
She always knew it was important to be kind,
That thought was always in the back of her mind.
She loved to give to the lonely,
Even when it felt like she was the only.
She felt invisible, even though
Everyone said she was invincible.
She never knew anyone felt this way,
Until one day she heard a voice say,
What's your name? Do you want to play?
She walks down the school hall with her best friend, first grade.
Many years and a few tears later
She walks down a new hall, no friend, senior year.
Finding herself back where she started, invisible.

I am sure that everyone feels this way at some point in their lives. Walking through the halls at school, seeing groups of friends laughing but you are all alone. Feeling like nobody sees you and nobody cares. However, you are never alone. There is always somebody who is experiencing that same feeling of loneliness.
