The thoughts in my brain making me lose control,

With nowhere to hide

and no place to call home

To escape the stabbing pain

and forget the entire world.

I began walking through the crunching leaves,

That laid on the dead grass.

Searching for somewhere safe and sound

I happily hopped to a streaming river

It felt so peaceful and sound.

The birds chirped as the sun glistened on the water,

Brightening up my mind for a better tomorrow.

The riverbend is my place to go,

Bringing me happiness that no one will ever know.

There's nothing more that can’t numb my pain.

Except for the fresh smell

after the rain.

Across the water was a tiny, stone well,

It drove people insane,

With the memories it contained.

And It surely held everyone's pain.

Although the well brought a lot of commotion,

As I sit there,

my thoughts clear faster than the waves of the ocean.

The howling wind blew fast, causing my mind to become more clear.

It brings me a sense of peace as the wind snatches my breath away.

And I would still go there today, as if it were any other day.
