beyond
The sun the warmth the chills
Rumble through my body
I feel as if I was a moon,
Feeling full of completeness
The day goes on
But I am still here.
Not ever being able to move on,
the moonlight takes over the sky
making the warmth turn cold.
The moon is bright
As I lie there in the sand,
Lie there counting the stars
Lie there wondering
if this is all that my life gives me.
Lie there wondering what is beyond those stars.
