Grief
A soft blow of wind
Against your cheek
A breeze that's still there on a hot day
But when alone
That brisk wind turns into a wild storm
Unpredictable and uncontrollable
Coming when you least except it
Tsunamis of emotions flooding your head
As you try to find the calm within your own storm
The charge of anger as the storm whispers into your ear
And creeps up behind you
Thunder strikes memories with more emotion than before
A cyclone of pressure to
“just be okay”.
