Pain and misery in words,
in tones,
in our very bones,
Will never be forgotten,
But now is not the time to dwell,
On past wrongs,
On unsung songs,
On things forgotten.
It's a time to play,
To rejoice,
To raise our voice,
But the past must not be forgotten.
