Abandon

November 16, 2021

Silently crying,

in a long monologue,

counting all my woes,

I sought to find my soul.

There were colors and a universe,

waiting to be explored.

Strangled and sore

by dreams new and old.

Abandon thy fears,

said his soul,

to dry my tears.

This   poem depicts procrastination and mental stress we face after failing in a venture  or introspecting ourselves at the nd of the day. It is also about any regrets that we may  have.

In the end it depends on ourselves to find the courage to be brave and face our fears.
