DOUBLETREE

A doubletree
stands tall, proud, and big.
But when you get closer
there is no mistaking,
it is old and wise,
broken and weeping.
A doubletree,
vandalized and tortured.
But yet it still stands and
will continue to stand.
A doubletree,
maybe one day it will
be put to rest
Say goodbye to this world, and
move on to the next.
