The Depths
forever with you
at the bottom of the ocean
you inspire me everyday
when something I loved disappeared
you remained
so today when you died
i crawled back into my dark cave
and here i will stay
forever alone
at the bottom of the ocean

This piece was written from random scraps that I cut out of a magazine. When I copied it down unto paper I left the capitalization and punctuation the same as it had been when I originally laid it out. It's not necessarily about death but rather loss. Its about losing someone or something you loved and the loneliness that can come with such loss.
