FALL NIGHTS
A surprisingly warm and serene fall night.
A gust of wind
That shook the trees with ease.
The honeycomb-colored leaves
Falling to greet me,
Almost as if they were saying hello.
The starved squirrels, quickly stuffing their mouths.
The brilliant birds, calling for their families.
The camouflaged crickets, chirping in excitement.
Fresh dew on the ground
Giving the air a natural aroma.
White twinkling stars
Painting the black canvas of a sky.
The bright waxing moon,
Wishing us a good night.
