Nothing but a bunch of lies.
Such an exquisite girl living in a disgusting world.
People disgusted her, society killed her
She was perfect; a perfect target
Her mother pushed her to be beautiful
So that's what she became
Until all of a sudden the boys,
Wanting her body that's it
She got used then called a slut later on
She wasn't messed up until people messed her up.
Taken advantage of like it's nothing
Well, she is nothing to them.
"She's nothing but a wh*re."
"Disgusting piece of sh*t."
They called her,
But didn't speak about how they begged,
Manipulating her,
Begging till she said yes,
Not taking no as an answer.
Did they not understand consent?
Of course, they just didn't care.
Then that's when the labels came
Labeling her instead of who did this to her
Not bothering to listen to her side.
The words spread,
The people had killed her with their words,
The words that the boys spoke.
But boys will be boys right?

This is a topic that should talked about, but it is not hardly ever or at all even and that is the problem. I think that most people are scared to talk about it or even bring it up. Hopefully this poem could be a voice for other people or encourage them to speak up about things like this.
