All the things we never see from the deer the mouse

The animals run wild while we watch tv in the house

The fox in the meadow and the birds in the tree

The drive to work while we wish to be free

The trout in the stream and the bass in the lake 

We long for adventure and a chance for a break

The stress of the world all come crashing down

While the woods holds all its secrets as if cloaked in a gown 

The cold and the rain may cause many to turn away

But to others, it's an invitation to come and play

Some will never take the time to experience

The sights and sounds of nature in all of its brilliance
