A Tight Embrace

After school
Each and every day
I lay down to hug my cat
He willingly jumps on my bed
And climbs onto my chest
In order for me to pet him
He wraps his paws around my neck
And squeezes as hard as he can
I am now nutrition for him to consume
I will happily do anything for my cat
The next day will begin the cycle once more
I do this
Only for him
And in return
He consumes
Only me

Everytime I come back from school tired, my cat is always the first one to greet me at the door. He is like a little ball of sunshine in my life because he brightens up my day anytime he's around.
