Poem to the raven
I dedicate this poem to the raven
that each morning, stands on the same lamppost.
On my way to school, I saw you. Like every other day. Through the car window. Today there was an Adele song playing on the radio. Near the end, she sang,
"And it was lovely seeing you"
That's what I hoped I could have told you.
Honestly, I'm amazed at your plumage. It looks so silky.
Tell me, what conditioner do you use?
You, the bird with obsidian wings, your dance in the fog makes me dream. I wish I could be so graceful when I'm foggy.
Inside those fluffy clouds, please help me to see clearly
You, beautiful bird.
