A Bewitching World
Suddenly I heard the time clock boom
And woke up in my little room,
Everything was new to me as I gazed around
The sight was indeed fascinating and astound.
I walked out to explore the town
Neither this world has a princess with crown,
Nor it's a world full of fantasy
Unlike my world, everyone here lived like a family.
The place was spotless but freezing
I felt jubilant when a girl raised her hand in greeting,
With a smile on her lips she seemed high
And asked me if I'm in need of help, humbleness reflecting in her sparkling eyes.
As we walked further I asked her about this mysterious place
She looked at me and replied with an unbothered face,
That there's no heaven, here it's appreciated if you try
No hell below us,above us only sky.
She said:"Here nothing's hard to do
And we have no religion too,
There are no boundaries or countries
So the happiness in everyone's life never cease."
I asked her if people judged here too
She reacted as if I asked something very rude,
She said that neither of us are saints
So we just accept each other as we all are same.
Our mistakes doesn't define who we are, oh dear
Our past doesn't determine our future,
No one is born perfect here
So we shouldn't be judged by our behavior.
I thought, how nice it is
For me to live in a world like this,
Where alike my world life exists and clock striked
But everyone here adored each other not disliked.
At last, again I heard the time clock boom
And woke up from my dream in my little room,
With smile on my lips I was feeling high
After bidding that Bewitching world goodbye.

Hey there, I'm a girl who during the 2020 lockdown I discovered that I am capable of writing down my feelings on a paper and express it through them. I started writing last year and showed it to many knowledgeable peoples around me and I was glad to find out that they were bewildered by my thoughts and writings and appreciated it very much. I have written many poems and also currently I'm writing a novel. I think I should share one of my work with the world which will definitely play a tremendous role in building self confidence and motivating me.Every line I've written has my true feelings behind it.
Thank you!
