A path in the forest

Lacking distance

I stride inward

Without Resistance

Blooming violets

Eucalyptus leaves

Vibrancy around us

Shriveling weeds

Encompass our souls

Entirely engulfed

As the darkness subsides

A light survived

I'm not entirely sure why

Take advantage of the love

That kept us alive

Don't take for granted

Those who cross our minds

Because they take a risk

They look at both sides

Before entering the presence

Of what is divine

This path is mine

And what's mine is yours

Our joy is connected

Our sadness is deplored

By our diamond minds

Which we use to think

We both know that one another

Can disappear in a blink

So I hold on tight

And walk to the end

Of the path that we began

When we were just friends

Now you're my other half

My ride or die

My one and only

My sun, my moon

My sky

I love to write poems and song lyrics on my free time. It destresses me and allows me to express my creativity in a healthy way.
