You Are Mom
You gave us our first kiss,
our first nuzzle, and smile.
You fill our hearts with joy,
love and everything emotion in between there.
You taught us to be the best person
we ought to be.
You taught us respect
and how to talk to God.
You taught us how strong we are
even on our toughest days.
You taught us hard work,
kindness, and virtue.
And how to keep our heads up
when they tended to bow.
You believe in us
that we will succeed,
even if we were not the favors.
You are given the hardest tasks
but somehow still find a way.
You love our imperfections
like they never existed.
You do asked favorsus favors
without a bat of an eye
as they were unasked.
You give us more than needed,
a million reasons,
and so much more.
You are Mom.

This poem was inspired by my own mother. EVrything about this poem reflects her and how she acts towards my family and me. She loves us uncondionaly and would do anything for us. I love you Mom.
