For him.
She’s lost again.
Whether it’s in his eyes.
Or his voice.
Or the way he looks away.
She could shut her eyes
and daydreamed for hours
with his music sending her to sleep.
Most people have some clarifying moment.
Screw that.
She wants to fall slowly.
There’s no point in rushing anymore.
No point in looking back and saying and that’s when I knew…
There is no if I love him or do I love him?
There is simply I love him.
The question lies in how she does.
She could look at the stars
and crave to tell him how beautiful the night is,
but she’d never get her answer.
They could travel a hundred lands together
and she’d probably still be wondering.
Dance a thousand times
and she could still look into his eyes
and be unsure.

I'm Jade and this poem was inspired by my best friend and the whirr of emotions I got from hanging out with him when we first started talking. He, however, said it's about how I'm a bit desperate for love and choose to love many guys in spite of their obvious and fatal flaws. I like both point of views because both are correct.
