i thoughts ghosts were real

i was a christian

the tooth fairy wasnt my parents

leprechauns and mermaids "existed"

school was way too easy

not a care in the world

I've gotten older now

now im an athiest

ghosts are just tricks of the light

my parents are the tooth fairy

leprechauns and mermaids are just pretend

school is getting harder

there are more dangers

crimes, crashes, and others 

younger me would have been chill

now im older

life isnt all rainbows and cupcakes now

I have seen a pandemic, bad politicians, and racism, ive been scammed in my games,

hacked and discriminated against by homophobes

global warming has become significantly worse

ive worried about technoblade getting cancer now. 

yes,

I am too old for bedtime stories, I'd rather be alone

but

now im older

theres nothing to stop growing up

peter pan wont come take us away from reality.
