The Animatronic
Bone-chilling scraping and crunching come from the hallway,
Breathy groans can be heard almost as if it’s alive.
Wrong, that’s wrong!
An animatronic cannot be alive,
There is no way a body made of solely metal and wires can be alive!
It’s just a figment of the imagination,
Just go back to sleep,
It’ll be gone soon enough,
But it’s not gone,
Never gone as it creeps closer and closer,
And it’s here,
Its fingers of metal and patchy fur scratch over the door handle,
And it’s in,
It’s in here,
How is it in here?
It comes closer,
And even closer,
Until…
