a hunger
and when i look at you
all sweetness and care,
i could just about cry
your smile is so careful
hiding something so sharp,
i know of it clear
can feel it faint on me,
all so sharp and wild
the way your teeth sink in
rip away my skin with taste,
dont hide it from me,
i will let you feast,
i will let you love me,
entirely.

It's a poem I made while thinking of nothing specific, I was just thinking. There was something in my head, I didn't know what but it was something alive and so, it came to breathe in words. It's about love. A love that consumes and takes and eats and leaves nothing behind. A love that seems terrifying to an outsider, a love that makes you want to look away.
A love that is like a desperate, vile hunger. Love.
