It's Okay to have butterflies in your stomach, as long as you make them fly in formation

An enormously tiny raindrop,
I am falling from the sky,
falling with millions of others,
no distinction, no uniqueness,
am not going to lie.
Thousands of feet above the ground,
still not feeling the high.

But you dance in the downpour,
you smile when I fall,
you clap when it thunders,
you enjoy it all.
your passion inclines me to introspect,
Your enthusiasm is a wake-up call
Sitting by the window on a dark, damp day,
Cheering for me with snacks and a bottle of alcohol.

You have gifted me confidence,
now I don’t feel the urge to cry,
because I know,
I’ll rise again from the sea,
Rejuvenated, robust and ready to fly.

I’ll rise and I’ll fall, then rise again,
I’ll continue this swirl,
Until one fine day, I’ll fall in an oyster,
and come back as a pearl.
