No more color

From my earliest light.
I have seen no color, only black as night.
I found it more simple in black and white.
And my frosty heart, I tried to ignite.
It filled my heart, not with fire but with spite.
And if all is lost and I have to smite-
If die tonight, I know I will be alright.
Because in death, there may be color so bright
