It’s the place I’ve come from
The person they raised me to be
The sole reason no one will support who I could become
I shine brighter than the stars in the sky
I know that now
And they will too when I finally say goodbye
I've grown into a world with no respect
No respect for the girl with huge dreams
Big dreams seem to make me a social reec
tI won’t become a firefighter or nurse or teacher
Won’t stay in this town
Being stuck her is my biggest fear
I won’t continue to wear this collar
Leash tied to a short pole
Not with what I could offer
