sunlit moments of enjoyment
I love you
I will shove this boba down my throat
even as i gag (for you)
My mind is always open
Reaching out its tendrils
For your presence is like the tide,
it washes over & over me
And it might seem like I have forgotten
(the delicate yellow of your shirt, your absinthe eyes in sunlight)
but I have not.
You are always on my mind,
whether I know it or not.
