The slight indentations on my paper
Were a tribute to how much I actually wrote
Broken down
Paragraph by paragraph
As I submitted the paper
A compilation of lengthy words
Displayed through a series of characters
In jet black ink
The weight came right off my shoulders
I was free
Free to come home and relax
Free to spend time with my friends
Without the creeping thought of a due assignment
Free to reward myself that day
Which I did
With a big scoop of ice cream
This freedom
Was the freedom I felt
While swimming among the vibrant fish
Under the clear waters
With the glowing sun covering me
Like a warm blanket
I was free to move
In a foreign environment
I felt like I was floating
But when I came back up
I was quite literally floating
