97 Percent of Women
Not all men.
But they’ve never had to walk home scared.
Not all men.
But everything they’ve done can no longer be repaired.
And not all men.
But the scars they left have been imprinted.
Not all men.
But it’s enough.
And not all men.
But they still follow us down the street when they have the chance.
Run.
Run.
Run.
Why do we have to protect our daughters when they should be educating their sons?
Not all men.
But it’s 97 percent of women.
Not all men.
But isn’t anything above 0 too much?
Not all men.
But it is now 97 percent of women.
97 percent.

Women walk home terriffied all the time while men will always use the excuse of "not all men", meaning that "not all men" are out to hurt them. They will use those words to excuse any mans behaviour and expect women to not be scared any more, however this poem is showing how it's okay to be scared and that many people have the same feelings.
