Whys does society have such high expectations

Am I smart enough?

Am I popular enough?

Am I pretty enough?

Am I nice enough?

Am I not enough?

Do I need to exceed my own expectations to reach someone else's?

Am I obligated to be who someone else wants me to be?

That could be debated

Im everything society has hated

And I definitely look more faded than your average friend

Most of my heart is dead

But like I said, society will even kill you when your dead

Most of your fake friends will spread ridiculous rumors about you

At least thats what happened to my friend

I defend him even though he's dead

I guess I'll never get it through my head all the hate that society spreads

Maybe that's why he wanted to be dead
