Rain in the Night
I close my eyes
Relaxation flows over me
The sound of the rain
Comforts me
The drops against the house
Light but loud
Bring me into a sense
And I feel proud
I feel happy
As I close my eyes
It’s one of my escapes
From the dreadful outside
I feel relaxed
As I press my ear to the cold wall
I feel relieved
When I hear it’s call
Big drops
Small drops
They are both there
The thunder in the back
As I just sit there
