I Haven't Seen the Sun Since Then
Fog rises from the lake
And from the heavens my love awakes
Her beauty bleeds from pink to blue
And I chat with her amongst the dew
The morning birds fill the sky
I dare not remove my eyes
Later on she slowly sinks
And the evening perfume begins to stink
Happy chirps turn to crows
As the dew slowly goes
And my happy eyes full of praise
Shatter to a solemn gaze
Blue and gold turn to black
And every day I make my way back
All has been cold and dim
And I haven't seen the sun since then
