Writing is not just writing down
What you feel.
It's more than just a pen
And a hand,
It's something more than what's real.
Because when I write,
It's more than just me
With a pen
Letting my emotions flow.
It's me voicing the silence within
The part of me which is inside, you know
It's like listening someone bare their soul
Honest, raw and vulnerable
In that very moment, I feel whole.
Because when I write
It's more than just me
It's almost as if their's a whole
Universe inside me,
Imploding.
To let my hands find their way
Through the thin pages
Of paper, my fingers play,
That now hold a part of
My very soul of ages
And in that moment,
I know it'll be okay.
Because when I write,
It's more than just me with a pen
Writing stuff down I adore
On a paper,
It's just so much more.
