Dear Global Pandemic
I’m not floating, i’m sinking
I’m not happy, but i’m not sad
I’m not out late, instead, being lazy
I’m smiling, but it doesn’t matter
You can’t see half of my face and I fear
I must quarantine, I lay in bed with my tv,
computer, and phone all on bc that’s what you do
Because of you
I do nothing, trying to do everything
I lay there, but I don’t feel like I am
I don’t feel anything, i’m emotionless
Because of you
I am not me, I am someone else
I will never be the same, because of you

I wrote this poem about how COVID-19 has had a huge affect/impact on our lives. I wrote not only about how it has impacted my life but I also tried to get a general idea of how it has affected others and put that in there. I wrote it off of thoughts in my head
