Anything Goes
Driving down the road on a early spring morning
Flowing through the hills
The Turbo diesel spooling as i climb hills
Looking at the early morning dew coating the trees and grass beside me
Watching the yellow lines turn into a double solid then back to stripes
As the wheels turn my miles go up
Smelling the air with the dairy farms near
Towing a heavy load
As i pass over a bridge the water flows like a raging bullet
Faster and faster as the water ripples down the falls
I gaze upon a mama black bear catching fish
The truck is hauling ass now and we are on our way to work
As we slow down and pull into the parking lot
I realized the beautiful morning cruise is over
Although i take that drive every week for work
